L'Ultimo Meraviglioso Minuto

Inspired by reading her book Kindred, celebrated Roman artist Pietro Ruffo invited Rebecca to collaborate on his biggest exhibition L'Ultimo Meraviglioso Minuto (The Last Marvellous Moment), which considers humans within their deep time context, as evolved beings with a deep creative legacy. 

Through a four day immersion in the history and art of Rome, together with special access to key museum fossil collections including Neanderthal remains, this collaboration resulted in the production by Pietro of specific pieces within the exhibition referencing these hominins, and an essay by Rebecca titled "Time Is In The Dream: Temporality and the Origin of Aesthetics".
